Oba Fatai Adisa Irawo-Ogunsi the Oba of Odi-Olowo in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area of Lagos, has passed on, on Wednesday at the age of 82.

The deceased traditional ruler came into power in 2000 and his crowning took place at the Shokunbi/Coker Junction in Odi-Olowo, believed to be the place where the monarch’s ancestors first settled in the 15th Century.

According to the Chairman of Mushin Local Government Emmanuel Bamigboye, the late monarch was a nice man who had a good working relationship with government agencies.

He said further that he was very nice to people, loveable and understanding and the community at large will miss him with the gap difficult to fill.
