EFCC Arraigns Fake Ibrahim Magu In Port Harcourt

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Port Harcourt on Wednesday arraigned a man portraying himself as “Ibrahim Magu”.

The man in question has been using the name of the EFCC acting chairman to harass and blackmail senior officials of the Niger Delta Development Commission.

He promised to kill corruption investigations involving the senior officials of NDDC.

The man who was identified as Robert Terfa Swem, was arraigned before Justice M. L Abubakar of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He was arraigned on three- count charges bordering on obtaining by false pretenses contrary to Section 8(b) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act 2006 and punishable under Section 1(3) of the same Act.
