Emery’s Job At Arsenal Looks Threatened

Naija News understands current Wolves manager, Nuno Espirito Santo currently leads the pack of coaches been touted to take over the Arsenal job from Unai Emery.

Following a string of poor results particularly in the premier league this season, there have been calls for the sack of Emery as Arsenal manager.

Reports have it that the club’s management has put Emery’s position at the club on a game-by-game basis and have already started considering candidates that may take over.

Names that have emerged include former Arsenal captain, Mikel Arteta who is currently the assistant manager at Manchester City and 45-year-old Nuno Santo who is currently in charge of Wolves which means both clubs have premier league experience.

Raul Sanllehi, the current head of football at Arsenal is said to have a long-standing relationship with Nuno’s agent, Jorge Mendes.

Mauricio Pochettino has also been linked with a move across north London after he was sacked by Tottenham last week.
