Medical Expert Appeals To Wealthy Individuals To Support Orphanages

Medical health practitioners, child activists have pleaded with Nigerians to assist orphanage children, street destitutes & IDPs with blanket & warm clothes, to save them from wind and cold-related diseases.

The medical expert raised awareness through the media on diseases associated with cold which might likely affect children, and elderly persons this year as a result of environmental changes which relate to climate change.

The medical director of women-hood school of health science Kaduna, Comrade Nurudeen Bello said, it becomes mandatory for medical health experts to rise-up and appealed to wealthy individuals, corporate organization, humanitarian agency ,Nema and Sema, Imams and pastors ,with traditional institutes to support children living in the orphanage home, and those residing at various internally displaced camps across the country ,including destitute street children’s with warm protective cloth.

He said this will surely reduce the challenges they might face this year as a result of cold weather that is gradually setting -in.

Nurudeen stressed that its high time for every good citizen of Nigeria to give his own donation, in order to protect the less-privileged children with warm clothes against cold-related diseases and respiratory infections such as conjunctivitis, asthma, cough, catarrh, tonsillitis, pneumonia ETC.

He notes that many children and elderly person during harmattan season like this usually get catarrh and pneumonia,

He says, this year harmattan season might likely come with its own challenges to health and environment, which at the end might affect human skin, hair and the body in general.

He, therefore, begged Nigerians to support the needy with warm clothes which include head warmer, Blanket, hand globe, etc.
