2019 Ekimogun Festival To Be Celebrated Soon

Ekimogun festival of 2019 will begin in Ondo town, Ondo State next week and end on December 7 with a gala night with King Sunny Ade & His African Beats at the bandstand.

According to the National Planning Committee Chairman, Abiodun Akinjayeju, the festival has become a unifying celebration for Ondo sons and daughters to show their rich culture and tradition of the town and to mobilize funds for community project development.

He said the celebration would consist of medical outreach, quiz, debate, football competitions among schools, an exhibition of traditional clothes and food fair.

Prof. Femi Mimiko is to deliver the lecture on the day titled “Connecting the nexus between youth unemployment, drug abuse, cultism, and economic stagnation & the way out”.
