President Muhammadu Buhari will meet with All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors to discuss economic diversification, anti-corruption and nation’s security.

Naija News reports that the parley is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 24th to Monday, 25th November 2019.

In a statement on Friday by the Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, (SGS), Prof. Danladi Atu, said the parley was to review the performance of the ruling APC in its first tenure.

Danladi Atu noted that the meeting is aimed at ensuring that no APC Governor deviates from the party’s manifesto.

He said, “The essence of the parley of the Progressives Governors who fall under the APC is to enable them to exchange ideas and ensure that the manifesto of the APC is maintained to provide good governance and all-inclusive Government.

“The parley will provide opportunity for states to have peer review of what is happening in each state and at the Federal level to enable
them learn and advise each other for a better and credible nation.

“It is expected that issues of economic diversification ranging from mining, agriculture, anti-corruption, social development, security
among others; would be discussed.”

Danladi revealed that Plateau State is expected to host over 180 high profile personalities, which include President Muhammadu Buhari, the
Progressives Governors and their aides, 19 ministers whose ministries are playing critical roles in the diversification of the nation’s
economy.
