After unveiling the very religious Jesus Is King Album on October 25, the turbulent rapper offers a new musical fantasy.

“Nebuchadnezzar”, this is the name of the next project by Kanye West, an opera premiered on November 24 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The musician announced the news via a Twitter publication, unveiling a kind of golden poster, designed by Nick Knight, a British fashion photographer. This one shows the profile of a man, who would be the profile of the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II, who gave his name to the show.

The show will be directed by contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft. Pitchofork says that it will also be about pieces by Peter Collins and Infinities. Tickets would go on sale Monday, November 18th. In an interview with journalist Zane Lowe on Beat 1, before the release of Jesus Is King, the musician had already mentioned the famous Babylonian king.

Kanye West recently unveiled his latest album Jesus Is King, with a film released on the same day in IMAX theatres.
