INEC Resumes Collation Of Results In Kogi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has resumed the collation of results in the Kogi governorship election which held on Saturday.

It will be recalled that the collation was suspended on Sunday as the results for two local governments, Lokoja and Ibaji were not ready.

As at the time the result announcement was suspended on Sunday, Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was leading Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Governor Bello of the APC had 184,430 while Wada of the PDP had 176,803.

Below are the results announced on Monday at the resumed collation.

Governorship result for Ibaji LGA

APC: 12,682

PDP: 10,504

SDP: 221

Governorship result for Lokoja LGA

APC – 19,457

PDP – 11,059

ADC – 20

ADP – 17
