Bayelsa Guber: Nigeria’s Democracy Is Saddening, Gov. Dickson Speaks On Electoral Process

Bayelsa governor, Seriake Dickson, has reacted to the ongoing governorship election in the state, saying it is a sad commentary on Nigeria’s democracy.

This, the governor said after casting his vote at ward 2, polling unit 5, Tori-Orua in Sagbama local government area of the state, today.

“Today is a sad commentary on our nation’s democracy, ” he said.

According to him, APC thugs hijacked electoral materials and were protected by the military.

He further noted that the election is not taking place in Nembe, Southern Ijaw and some other areas in the state.

Dickson also accused the APC of trying to make the nation a one-party state,
