Imo Monarch Loses N85 Million As Gunmen Attack Palace

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a staff of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Abiodun Adenuga, at his residence in Odogbolu LGA, Ogun State.

It was gathered that the NTA was abducted around 10 pm on Wednesday when the gunmen held him at gunpoint and took him away.

“The abductors are demanding a ransom of N15 million for his release,” a family source disclosed.

Naija News understands that the kidnappers, during negotiations with the family, refused to reduce the ransom.

The Ogun State Police Command through its spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed that someone was kidnapped in that area.

Oyeyemi said he could not ascertain who was kidnapped by the gunmen.

He, however, noted that the police were doing everything possible to ensure the victim was rescued unhurt.
