Osinbajo Meets Alibaba Group Co-Founder, Jack Ma

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday, held a closed-door meeting with Jack Ma, the co-founder and former Executive Chairman of popular Chinese e-commerce firm Alibaba group.

Speaking on the purpose of his visit, the business mogul explained that he is in the country to honour the VP’s invitation extended to him earlier in Davos, Switzerland. He also expressed a wiliness to support businesses in Nigeria as well as invest in Nigeria.

He also disclosed that he is pursuing a programme which he terms “Four Es” – E-infrastructure, Entrepreneurship, E-government and Education.

Naija News understands that Jack Ma is in Nigeria for the first Digital Economy Summit in Abuja with the  theme, “Leveraging Digital Economy for Trade & Investment.“
