Fani-Kayode Reacts As Terrorists Torture Abuja-Kaduna Train Victims

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has accused President Muhammadu Buhari and Muslims from the Northern region of planning to hold power for the next 20 years.

In a post on his Twitter handle, the Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said Buhari will hand over to someone who is a Muslim from the North East after his tenure.

He however stated that this would only happen if the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) succeed in silencing the opposition.

Fani-Kayode wrote: “There is a possibility that if care is not taken and if all the voices of the opposition are successfully cowed and silenced, that the Muslim north may retain power for the next 20 years.

“4 years left for Buhari, 8 years for a NE [North East] Muslim and 8 years for a NC [North Central] Muslim. That is their plan.”

In a tweet earlier, Fani-Kayode had dismissed insinuations that President Buhari may contest for a third term after his tenure expires in 2023.

The former presidential aide insisted that Buhari has no third term agenda but would push the “Northern agenda.”
