The 2016 former governorship aspirant of the PDP, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has allegedly concluded plans to leave his party and join the APC.

Naija News recalls that the two-time governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ize-Iyamu contested governorship election of the state in 2012 and  2016.

According to the report gathered the Redeemed Church of God pastor may dump the PDP for APC before this week runs out, having reached an agreement with the national chairman of the APC.

Although Ize-Iyamu had remained a passive member of the party after he had issues with the chairman of the PDP in the state, Chief Dan Orbih which was disclosed by a source who prefers anonymity within the state chapter of the party.

Ize-Iyamu, who served as Secretary to the Edo State Government during the administration of former Governor Lucky Igbinedion, joined others to form the Grace Group, which metamorphosed into the defunct Action Congress.

Naija News also learnt that some supporters of Pastor Ize-Iyamu have taken to social media to celebrate his planned exit from the PDP and entrance into the APC with the hashtag #POIiscoming.
