Adebayo Oladeji, spokesman for Samson Ayokunle, president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has noted that there is no crisis between President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.

He however started that the body is not happy about recent reports on Osinbajo.

Recall that last Wednesday, 35 aides of the Vice-President were sacked by the president.

This move fuelled speculation that there is a rift between the president and his vice.

However, Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, said the reason for the action was to cut down on the cost of governance.

While speaking with newsmen yesterday, Oladeji said though the vice-president although Osivajo has not complained that there is a rift between himself and the president, the rumours may not be far from the truth.

He advised Buhari and Osinbajo to resolve any differences between them if truly there is a feud.

He also asked the “warring camps” to sheathe their swords, adding that if the 2023 elections is the cause of the problems, then it is too early to predict who will rule Nigeria.
