Why PDP Lost Bayelsa, Kogi Elections - Governor Dickson

The Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has spoken on the reported disagreement between him and the former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Dickson in his reaction accused political jobbers of making misleading comments and misrepresenting his actions with Jonathan over the choice of the PDP governorship candidate.

The Bayelsa state governor stated that those who claim to be working for Jonathan did not mean well for the former President.

Dickson stated that Jonathan remained his leader, he added that he served as a political strategist to the ex-president.

He stated whoever is sowing seeds of discord between them were unfair to him.

“I do not want to say much but those of them sowing the seed of discord were not there when I fought battles for the former President”.

He further stated that he stood with the former President and never compromised during his re-election bid in 2015.

“I told him then that the election was our own and those who wanted to impose a successor on me are unfair.”

Dickson noted that he will reveal more in his memoirs when he leaves the office and people will have the details.
