Police Arrest Armed Robber With Pistols And Ammunition In Delta Motor Park

A 29-year-old man, Emeka Uguw suspected to be an armed robber has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command along Asaba Motor Park with possession of 3 pistols and 13 ammunition.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya made this known in a statement signed and made available to the general public.

He explained further that the suspect was arrested by operatives from C Division who was acting on credible information in October this year. He said the suspect who hails from Ezeagu Street in Enugu was boarding a Lagos bound commercial vehicle at Asaba Motor Park.

He said the operatives rushed into action and arrested the suspect. An investigation was conducted on the suspect and found three local made pistol and 13 armed ammunition in the bag he was carrying.

The Police spokesperson noted that the suspect will be charged to court as soon as they have gathered their information from further investigation.
