Kidnapped Wife Of Katsina Deputy Accountant General Released

The wife of Katsina State Deputy Accountant General, Sani Lawal Barkin-Kasua, Hajiya Lubabatu, has been released by kidnappers.

According to a report, she was abducted last Wednesday by gunmen who stormed her husband’s Bahrain Housing Estate in Katsina State.

Katsina police command’s spokesperson, SP Gambo Isah, confirmed her release. He said, “Yes, she has regained her freedom.”

A source revealed that Hajiya Lubabatu was released after some undisclosed amount was paid as ransom to her kidnappers.
