Fani-Kayode Reacts As Buhari Signs The PSC Bill Into Law

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Production Sharing Contract bill into law.

Naija News understands that the $1.4 billion PSC bill will amend the act in a way the federal government gets its benefits through reviewing the sharing formula.

Speaking on the new bill through his twitter handle, Buhari described the new law as “a landmark moment for Nigeria”.

The President went on to say that Nigeria will now receive its “fair, rightful and equitable share of income from our own natural resources for the first time since 2003″ He claimed that all along, Nigeria did not secure its equitable share of the proceeds of oil production.

Meanwhile, Nigerian’s Former Minister Aviation Mr. Femi Fani Kayode has asked the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo to drop his resignation letter to the APC led Federal Government.

The ex-minister who joined other Nigerians to berate the action of  President Muhammadu Buhari and his Cheif of Staff, Abba Kyari over the signing of PSC law in London, asked Osinbajo that if his boss can’t trust him why is he still there?
