EFCC Breaks Silence On Dropping Corruption Charges Against Diezani

‘Internationally certified’ auctioneers have been contacted overseas by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to auction off the $40 million (about N14.4 billion) jewelry, recovered from a former Petroleum Resources Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

Naija News reports that this was revealed by the acting Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Ibrahim Magu.

This online news platform understands that the EFCC boss made this comment at the ongoing EFCC stakeholders conference on a crusade against cybercrime fraudsters at the commission’s Lagos office.

The EFCC boss said 242 trailers and tankers recovered from internet scammers will also be auctioned off.
