Just In: Court Orders Lagos State Assembly To Stop Ambode’s Probe

A Lagos High Court has ordered the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa and other committee members to stop all ongoing investigation on the procurement of 820 buses.

Naija News understands that Justice Y.A. Adesanya gave the verdict in favor of the embattled ex-governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode who dragged the Lagos state lawmakers to court over alleged deliberate misrepresentation of facts and mismanagement of public funds

The court thereafter adjourned the case till the 20th of November, 2019 for the respondents in the matter to respond to the plaintiff’s application.

Naija News, however, recalls that the former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, was asked by the State House of Assembly to appear before it several but the ex-governor failed to show up.
