Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, may leave the North London club at the end of the season if the Gunners fail to make the top four.

Aubameyang has been an integral part of the Gunners squad since joining from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, scoring 49 goals in 76 competitive appearances.

The North London club have failed to make it to the Champions League for the past three seasons and if the Gabon international has his heart set on playing in Europe’s biggest club competition, he may have to leave at the end of his contract.

Aubameyang has a year left to run on his current deal and is yet to commit to an extension.

Arsenal is set to take on English Premier League (EPL) leaders, Liverpool, in the Carabao Cup.

The Gunners have been in the news lately for the wrong reasons after their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at the Emirates.

Captain Granit Xhaka had clashed with Arsenal fans when he was substituted for Bukayo Saka.

Fans jeered the Arsenal captain when he was spotted strolling off the pitch with the Gunners searching for a win.

Xhaka threw his arms up in the air and cupped his ears after his substitution was greeted by boos.

Xhaka was also seen mouthing “f*** off” at the Arsenal fans and removed his shirt before storming down the tunnel.
