1. Presidency Releases Takeaways From Buhari’s Visit To Putin’s Russia

The Presidency has released takeaways from President Muhammadu Buhari‘s visit to Sochi, Russia where he participated in the maiden edition of the Russia-Africa summit. Naija News had reported earlier that President Buhari arrived Abuja from Russia on Friday night, a terse statement on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, by Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant on New Media to the President confirmed.

2. Atiku vs Buhari: Supreme Court Delay In Naming Judges Worries Ex-VP

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has expressed concern in the delay in naming Supreme Court justices to sit on his appeal against the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal’s ruling. Unknown gunmen have released six female pupils and two staff of the Engravers College, Kakau Daji in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. This is coming 23 days after their abduction by heavily-armed men suspected to be kidnappers.

Okoi Obono-Obla sacked Chairman of the Special Presidential Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP), says those behind his ordeal were bent on rubbishing him before the Nigerian public.
