Woman Uses Hot Knife On 4-Year-Old Niece Over Pot Of Soup

A 35-year-old mother of three identified as Monsurat Olusanya, has landed herself in the Police net for inflicting various degrees of injuries on her 4 -year -old niece, Fathia Ogundimu.

Naija News understands that the operatives of the Ogun State Police command arrested Olusanya following a complaint from a resident of Tiluwalase community, in Owode Ijako, to the Sango Police Division. 

The complainant who came with the girl, reported the case on October 18, 2019, insisting the police intervene before the little girl dies from the series of abuse melted on her by her gruesome aunty.

The complainant was reported to have alleged that Olusanya had in her latest abuse, Inflicted heavy body injuries on the toddler with a hot knife after.

It was gathered that the reason for the latest abuse against the little girl was because she mistakenly poured a pot of soup the aunty had prepared.

The suspect who apparently was reported not to be satisfied with the injuries she had already inflicted on her “captive,” resorted to biting her on her stomach and lips.

Upon interrogation, she admitted to being responsible for the injuries on the body of the victim but pleaded with the police to be lenient with her, blaming the economic situation of the country and furthermore blaming her actions on the devil’s determination to mislead her.

The victim has been taken to hospital for medical treatment, while the suspect is currently being detained at Aango division while the biological parent of the victim has been contacted to come and take custody of their daughter.
