Fire Guts Another Market In Delta

A popular market in Delta, Otowodo market in Ughelli on Sunday, went up in flames.

Naija News understands that the inferno occurred in the evening hours of Sunday, October 20.

The source of the inferno is still yet to be ascertained as at press time, although, there are speculations that the source of the inferno might not be unconnected to a power surge in the market.

The inferno at Ughelli market comes after the repeated tales of loss of properties and lives in Anambra state owing to the fire outbreaks.

The Sunday fire outbreak in Ughelli left properties worth millions of Naira destroyed.

However, the inferno was reportedly put out by the residents who relentlessly adopted the use of water, among other items.
