ICPC Gives 6 Tractors Recovered From Bauchi Senator To LGAs

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Commission (ICPC) has given six tractors recovered from a former Senator representing Bauchi Central Isa Hamman Misau to the beneficiaries.

Naija News learnt that the antigraft agency’s Commissioner in Bauchi state,  Abubakar Dutsinma, made this known in an interview with newsmen shortly after he handed over the six tractors to the LGAs at the Ganjuwa Local Government Secretariat.

He said the release of the tractors followed a directive from the Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Bolaji Owosanoye. He said that the Constituency Project Tracking Group was initiated in collaboration with some CSOs and the officers of the Commission in 12 states of the federation including Bauchi.

Speaking on how the tractors were collected from the ex-senator, Dustsinma, said  In the course of that constituency project tracking, it was discovered that the tractors were purchased and delivered, but unfortunately, they were not given to the people they were meant for.

Naija News understands that the tractors were meant to be distributed to the six beneficiary Local Government Areas of Ganjuwa, Misau, Dambam, Darazo, Aarji and Ningi, in Bauchi Central Senatorial Zone.
