Coach Gernot Rohr has threatened to leave the Super Eagles of Nigeria if he is not paid an outstanding three months’ salary by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Naija News recalls that the NFF had earlier denied reports that they are owning the German three months’ salary.

The German is reportedly earning about 50,000 dollars every month (equivalent of N17.85 million in Nigerian currency).

Giving an update on Saturday in a post on his Twitter page, BBC journalists Osasu Obayiuwana wrote “Reliable information from Singapore indicates that Gernot Rohr COULD quit the Super Eagles job, after the game against Brazil.

“Rohr is infuriated that the Nigeria Football Federation publicly denied the fact that he is being owed three months wages.”

It was gathered that Rohr’s lawyer, Jean-Jacques Bertrand is in discussions with the leadership of the NFF over his client’s unpaid entitlements.

Recalls that Gernot Rohr had laid down three reasons he may decide not to continue as the coach of the Nigerian national team when his contract ends in 2020.

According to him, there were some organizational problems.

He further added that he is not respected and the promises made to him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) were not fulfilled.
