Worshippers in their numbers, stormed the Mosque in Aso Rock, Nigeria’s Presidential Villa, hoping to witness the alleged marriage between President Muhammadu Buhari and Sadiya Farouq.

Naija News reports that media has been awash with speculations that President Buhari is set to marry a second wife, with Farouq’s name mentioned as the second wife in the picture.

A report monitored on PointBlankNews by Naija News, had quoted sources in Aso Rock, Nigeria’s Presidential Villa, to have revealed that President Buhari is planning to marry the minister.

The report quoted a source who spoke on condition of anonymity that Ms. Farouk is a close friend of President Buhari and also well-loved by the ‘cabals’ in the President’s “Next Level” government.

However, in anticipation of the wedding, worshippers stormed the Presidential Villa Mosque where President Buhari observed the weekly two raka’at jumaat prayer.

This online news platform understands that Presidential aides, some cabinet ministers and former governor of Zamfara, Abdulaziz Yari as well as Senator Kabir Gaya were among those that joined President Buhari at the Jumaat prayer.

Naija News gathered that Jumaat prayer, however, witnessed an unprecedented number of faithful, who stormed the Villa mosque to confirm the authenticity or otherwise of the social media reports claiming that President Buhari would have a wedding Fatiha for a second wife.

However, the wedding did not hold at the Presidential Villa on Friday as speculated in some quarters.

The Presidency through the Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina,  quashed the rumour that went viral on the social media, describing it as “false.”
