Naija News reports Farouq, who is Nigeria’s Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, is in New York, promoting a UN campaign against poverty amidst rumour of a wedding with President Muhammadu Buhari.

This online news platform understands that Farouq, whose rumoured wedding to Buhari is scheduled for Friday, canvassed for active participation of citizens in ending poverty in a tweet on Friday.
