1. President Buhari Presents 2020 Budget To National Assembly

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday presented a N10.729 trillion 2020 budget estimate to the joint session of the National Assembly for approval.

According to the figures, N2.46 trillion has been allocated for capital projects in the figures based on $57/barrel oil price and 7.5% VAT.

President Muhammadu Buhari says he is suffering from cold, attributing the ailment to his hard work as Nigeria’s President.

10. Dasuki: Court Fixes Date To Hear EFCC’s Motion

A High Court in Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Tuesday, fixed Dec. 11, for the hearing in the trial of rtd Col. Sambo Dasuki and four others over alleged misappropriation of N19.4 billion arms funds.

Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf adjourned the trial after Rotimi Jacob, SAN, the counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had notified the court of a motion he filed.
