Recall a documentary released on Monday by the BBC following an undercover investigative report on sexual harassment in some West African Universities had raised fresh dust on the issue.

In the video, a Nigerian university lecturer, Boniface Igbeneghu, was caught on camera requesting sexual demands in exchange for admission into the University of Lagos.

The investigative report was conducted by an undercover journalist, Kiki Mordi, with BBC African Eye, who disguised as a 17-year-old admission seeker.

The issue has continued to generate reactions from several individuals particularly on social media and Falz has also added his voice to the public outcry which followed the video documentary.

He called for an end to the dysfunctional system that allows men to be taken advantage of.

Falz said: “I don’t think this is a time for baseless animosity. I have and will always speak up against all forms of sexual abuse. Yesterday, today, tomorrow. What we should be doing is working together to get rid of this dysfunctional system that allows women to be taken advantage of.”
