Gunmen Kidnap Nine In Abuja

Nine persons have been abducted in Pegi community, a resettlement area in the Kuje Area Council of the Abuja.

Naija News understands that the victims were kidnapped in the late hours of Monday, October 7.

The kidnappers were reported to have disguised in Nigerian Army camouflage and whisked their abductors to an unknown location.

The abduction of nine persons also includes the abduction of a 12-year old boy whose name is still yet to be ascertained.

In a similar vein, one person has been killed while four others were abducted in the early hours of Monday in Anguwan Barau, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A member of the Barau community said the gunmen arrived at about 4:00am on Monday and started shooting sporadically.

The eyewitness added that on hearing the sound of gunshots in varieties, people started running in all directions and one person died in the process.

However, the police are yet to confirm the abduction.
