1. Sowore: Buhari Govt Plans To Report Justice Taiwo To NJC

Reports have emerged that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is plotting to report Justice Taiwo Taiwo to the National Judicial Council (NLC) for granting bail to the convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore.

Naija News recalls that the Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Taiwo, granted bailed to Sowore who is standing trial for treasonable felony.

2. Police Confirm Rescue of Samson Siasia’s Mother

The Bayelsa State Police Command has confirmed that Madam Beauty Ogere, the mother of Samson Siasia, a former Super Eagles coach, has been released by kidnappers.

Confirming her release on Sunday, Mr Asinim Butswat, the Police Public Relations Officer, a Superintendent of Police, said the police command would issue an official statement later.
