The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan on Wednesday, inaugurated the entire committees of the 9th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and the National Social Investment Programme (N-SIP) are not under any probe, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said.

Naija News reports that the EFCC made this clarification in a statement issued by its Head of Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren on Wednesday.

EFCC in the statement noted that at no time did its spokesperson make any reference to N-SIP as a programme or accused those who superintend it of corruption.
