Gunmen Abduct Businessman In Ekiti

A business mogul identified simpoly as Sina has been reportedly kidnapped by some yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

Naija News understands that the gunmen abducted their victim in Ipoti-Ekiti, Ijero Local Government Area of Ekiti state.

Sina was àbducted around 10pm, late Sunday, September 22, when the gunmen invaded his residence located at the heart of the town.

He was about to enter his residence after a day’s work before he was kidnapped by unknown gunmen, a source disclosed.

The kidnappers were reported to have arrived his residence, carefully monitored him alighting from his car after which they surrounded him, pointing guns against his head and instructing him to move out of his car; after which he obeyed and was whisked away to an unknown location.

As at the time of filing this report, the Source who was reported to have spoken on condition of anonymity said that the abductors of the businessman are yet to make contact with the family of the victim.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Caleb Ikechukwu, according to Within Nigeria, was reported to have said he was not aware of the abduction.
