The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has said the cabal in Aso Rock is embarrassing and frustrating Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The Biafra pressure group also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of not doing anything to defend the Vice President.

2. Finally, Security Chiefs Appear Before House of Reps

Members of the House of Representatives on Monday met with Service Chiefs to deliberate on the spate of insecurity in Nigeria.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai and the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu were absent from the meeting which was held behind-closed-doors.

3. ‘Suspended’ Justice Ngwuta Resumes Work At Supreme Court

Justice Sylvester Ngwuta who was technically suspended from the bench of the Supreme Court on Monday resumes official duties.

4. Court Affirms Sanwo-Olu’s Lagos Guber Victory

A petition filed by the Labour Party (LP) against Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the duly elected Governor of Lagos State in the March 9 polls has been dismissed by an Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Lagos, today.

Describing the petition as “futile and wasteful exercise”, the tribunal said the petitioners (LP and Ifagbemi Awamaridi, its governorship candidate in the election) failed to present evidence of mental incompetence brought against Sanwo-Olu

5. Kaduna: Gov. El-Rufai Puts Own Son In Public Primary School

The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir-El-Rufai has enrolled his own son, Abubakar Al-Siddique El-Rufai in a public primary school in the state.

According to information gathered by Naija News, the young El-Rufai was on Monday, enrolled as a Primary One pupil of Kaduna Capital School.

6. $9.6b Judgement: Malami, Emefiele Lead Nigerian Delegation To UK To Battle P&ID

A federal government delegation including the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, and the attorney-general of the federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, are already in the United Kingdom to save Nigeria from the Process and Industrial Development Limited (P&ID) debt.

The delegation which departed Nigeria on Saturday also included inspector-general of police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu; the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu and minister of information, Lai Mohammed.
