Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, has downplayed reports linking Jose Mourinho with a return to Real Madrid.

Current Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has come under pressure of late despite the fact that Los Blancos are currently joint top of LaLiga.

Mourinho is seen as the most likely candidate to replace the Frenchman at the Bernabeau.

Speaking after his side’s 1-0 win over Sevilla on Sunday, Ramos said he is not thinking about a return of the former Chelsea manager.

“It doesn’t annoy me that his name is linked, that’s how it is.

“I don’t have to say if it annoys me or not, that’s the situation. Here, you lose a game and you have to change something. It’s difficult but that’s the reality,” Ramos told reporters.
