Naija News reports that a three-man panel of the Tribunal upheld the election of Governor Emmanuel in a unanimous judgement delivered on Thursday, September 19.

The National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Owerri, the Imo State capital on Wednesday, sacked Mr. Obinna Onwubuariri. Until the latest development, Onwubuariri was the lawmaker representing Isiala Mbano/Onuimo/Okigwe federal constituency of Imo State at the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
