My Husband Asks For Cloth I Use To Clean Up After Sex – Wife

A housewife, Favour, has asked an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve her 13-year-old marriage to her husband, Azeez Solomon.

A woman identified as Favour has urged an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve her 13-year-old marriage to her husband, Azeez Solomon.

The housewife pointed to the fact that he doesn’t perform his responsibilities, she added that she had been paying the children’s school fees until last year and that Solomon threatened to kill her during arguments.

Daily Trust, quoted Favour saying that whenever they had sexual intercourse, her husband would demand the cloth she used to clean up.

She stated that the strange act made her stop having sex with him.

She accused her husband of frequently visiting herbalist, especially when he was ill, and routinely brought black soap to the home.

The housewife added that Solomon doesn’t allow her to access his room, which he allegedly locked all the time.

The wife recounted that Solomon ordered her to leave the shop he got for her business, adding that “it was the business I was using to maintain the children. I pleaded with him but he refused”.

She urged the court to grant her custody of the children, Marvelous, 9, and Christian, 5, both boys, and Mercy, 2, a female.

Solomon, a resident of No. 2, Omisanajan Street, Ado-Ekiti, while reacting to the accusation stated that his wife was his salesgirl when he met her.

He claimed that his wife misbehaves and denied the allegation that he was not paying the children’s school fees.

Solomon, who also denied locking his room, said he still loved his wife and the court should plead with her to come back home.

The president of the court, Mrs Olayinka Akomolede, adjourned the case till October 24, 2019 for judgment.
