Just In: Buhari Meets Acting HoS, Yemi-Esan

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met with the Acting Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The agenda of the meeting between Buhari and Yemi-Esan, which was held behind closed doors, was unknown at the time of filing this report.

NAN reports that Yemi-Esan was in the Presidential Villa for the first time since her appointment on Wednesday.

The new HoS might have used the opportunity of the visit to formally introduce herself to the president.

Naija News reports that President Buhari had sent the Head of Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, on an indefinite suspension.

Oyo-Ita’s indefinite suspension was announced on Wednesday night on the micro-blogging site, Twitter by the handle of the Nigerian Government “@ngrpresident.”

The statement said the President also named Folashade Yemi-Esan as the Acting Head of Service “with immediate effect”.
