1. Tribunal To Give Judgement In Adelabu, Makinde’s Case Today

The Oyo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Ibadan will today (Monday) decide the actual winner of the March 9, 2019 governorship election between Governor Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and candidate for All Progressive Congress (APC), Bayo Adelabu. Adelabu went to court to challenge Makinde’s victory after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the winner as the winner of the elections.

2. Atiku Vs Buhari: PDP Govs Predict Supreme Court Judgement

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has expressed confidence that the Supreme Court will invalidate the election of President Muhammadu Buhari. The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) had on Wednesday dismissed the petition of the PDP and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

3. Dino Melaye Reveals Politicians That Will Dump PDP For APC

Dino Melaye, the Senator representing Kogi West at the Nigerian Senate, says it is only compound fools and people with a degree in stupidity that will leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party. 4. Gov Fayemi Berates Killing Of FUOYE Students, Says Investigation Is On

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi has finally spoken about the death of the two students of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti. Naija News learned that the Governor was angry about the scenario as he ordered the state police Commissioner, Mr. Amba Asuquo, to expose the culprits that killed the students.

5. AGF Malami Speaks On Plan To Probe Lawan, CJN Tanko, Others

The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has denied alleged plans of the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) to screen the accounts belonging to judges and principal officers of the National Assembly. Naija News reports that the NFIU had commenced an investigation into bank accounts belonging to Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Speaker of the House of Reps Femi Gbajabiamila and other principal officers of the National Assembly.
