Ndume Reacts To Presidential Tribunal Judgement

Senator Ali Ndume, a former Senate Leader has spoken on the tribunal victory of President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress on Wednesday.

In a personally signed statement in Abuja, Ndume said the ruling is an expression and extension of the will of Nigerians. He added that the victory is for the country’s democracy.

Naija News recalls the Justice Mohammed Garba-led five-member panel of the Tribunal had dismissed the petition by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in its entirety.

Ndume also commended Atiku and the PDP for following the legal process in expressing its grievances stemming from the outcome of the 2019 presidential election in the country.

He said, “I heartily congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress for the judgement of the tribunal which confirmed his re-election this year.

“I commend also, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party for choosing the path of law and order to express their dissatisfaction with the election results.

“The Wednesday’s judgement only vindicated millions of Nigerians who admonished Atiku not to go court to contest against your victory at the poll for reasons that your election was free and fair.”
