The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday dismissed the petition of the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react, see reactions below:
If you’re buying suya around Asokoro this evening, look properly, the wrap may just be @atiku’s useless petition papers

My loyalty for @atiku remains unshakable, no matter the situation.

So imagine Atiku supported GEJ in 2015. He would still be in ask rock. Atiku would have beaten Buhari hands down at the polls,GEJ would have handed over to Atiku, and he would have been president now. Lesson: don't ever support evil no matter the immediate gain.

The whole Aso Cabals came to the court today. Atiku can proceed to the Supreme Court to make them sweat a bit.😂🤣 pic.twitter.com/TGPTYaw2rp

Had a heated argument with a colleague of mine last week, he strongly believed @atiku was going to win today at the tribunal. I strongly disagreed because the very system called Judiciary in Nigeria is in the worst of all shambles, a dilapidated Institution. #BetterNigeria I pray

If anyone is surprised by today's ruling in the @Atiku/@MBuhari case then they still don't understand the nature of the beast we are fighting and the gravity of the situation we are in.They didn't just rig the election, they rigged the courts too! They control ALL 3 arms of Govt.!

The case today was between @Atiku Abubakar vs the tribunal. A clear subversion of justice pic.twitter.com/4TXW0a3sXr

I am still wondering How Atiku's team were going to convince #PEPT that data gotten from https://t.co/SdFqdJG0B9 was the actual election data. And that's all their forensic data Analyst had as evidence….#AtikuBusted

The judge in dismissing Atiku's petition just said the classmates of Buhari who testified in his favour cannot lie or twist the truth by virtue of their age.
He said that they cannot lie bcus they are old men.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Hilarious.Should we tell them?😂#PEPTJudgement

Whether Atiku or Buhari, the truth is I don't believe in justice from Nigerian courts. This generation and the next is lost. Don't come and argue with me. To all Nigerian graduates, your certificates are irrelevant
Just join politics. That's it#PEPTSAVENIGERIA #PEPTJudgement— Ryse Global Concept (@rysegloba) September 11, 2019
If Buhari can do it, all Agberos on the street can also do it!
They should all go and swear affidavit at any court that they are Ph.D holders. It's just N500.
If they question them, they should cite the case of Atiku V Buhari.
CASE CLOSED #PEPTJudgement
