Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Tuesday said it was the ill-treatment being meted by successive government, particularly the present, Mohammadu Buhari-led All Progressive Congress (APC), administration that aggravated the situation that worsened the agitation for the Sovereign State of Biafra, led by IPOB. Naija News understands that the leader of the Biafran group made this known in a paper presented by Mazi Kanu, to the European Union, EU, Parliament.

2. Nnamdi Kanu Arrives European Parliament To Discuss Biafra Referendum (Photos)

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has arrived at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. Naija News reports that the IPOB leader arrived the European Parliament building in Brussels on Tuesday, September 10, after accepting the invitation of a few Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).

One Thomas Carroll of GAYLORD POPP, LLC, acting on behalf of the Incorporated Trustees of Make Nigeria Better Initiative (MNBI), has dragged the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) before the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. Naija News gathered that the lawyer, in the complaint, asked the ICC to order the arrest and prosecution of the pro-Biafra activist.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has accused Southeast Governors of having knowledge of the Operation Python Dance II carried out in the South East in 2017 by the Nigerian Army. Naija News recalls that the IPOB had alleged that the operation led to the killing of some of its members at Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia State, Kanu’s home town.

Counsel to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Aloy Ejimakor, has called on South-east governors to explain to Igbos their role in the 2017 Operation Python Dance that led to the ban on IPOB. In an open letter entitled: “Python Dance: An Open Letter to South-East Governors,” Ejimakor, who is also counsel to IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, challenged the governors to convince Igbos.

Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation, has dared members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu, to attack him abroad. Naija News reports that Amaechi made this comment in reaction to claims that politicians in Nigeria are afraid of traveling abroad after the attack on a former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, by IPOB members.

9. Biafra: Nigerians Abroad Issue Strong Warning Against IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu

The Nigerians in Diaspora Monitoring Group (NDMG) has warned Nigerians to avoid Nnamdi Kanu and members of his outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Speaking at a press conference at the Enish Restaurant, Finchley, London on Wednesday, the group said IPOB activities outside the shores of Nigeria needed concerted efforts by all critical stakeholders to protect the image of the country.
