Police Parade Shoprite Looters Recovered Stolen Goods

Some of the looters of Shoprite stores in Lagos have been paraded on Tuesday, September 10.

Naija News understands that the suspects were paraded in few days after they were arrested for allegedly looting the stores stationed at various locations in Lagos.

Recall that some irate youth had attacked the South African brands in a reprisal following the recent xenophobia attack in South Africa

The area Commander of the Shangotedo Police in Lagos, Gbolahan Olugbemi, said a total of 125 suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack on Shoprite with 90% of the stolen goods recovered.

According to the police, 112 of those arrested were found in possession of stolen items and have been charged to court.
