Presidential Tribunal Picks Date To Deliver Judgement

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, has picked a date to deliver judgment in the petition between Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall Atiku, 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is challenging the election victory of President Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Naija News reports the Tribunal has picked Wednesday, September 11, 2019 (tomorrow) by 9:00am, to deliver its final judgement.

Sources close to the Tribunal also revealed the date has been communicated to the parties involved.

Sa’adatu Musa, the spokesperson of the court of appeal, disclosed the date in a notice on Tuesday.

“Please be informed notice has been given for judgment to be delivered tomorrow September 11, 2019. 9. 00 AM,” Musa said.
