Gabon Coup Patriotic, Let The Military Restore True Democracy - Shehu Sani Tells AU, UN

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central district, Shehu Sani, has called on the federal government to adequately assist Nigerians returning from South Africa.

Naija News reports that a fresh wave of attacks against foreigners resume on Sunday.

Armed protesters took to the streets of South Africa to violently demand that foreigners return to where they came from.

A South African newspaper, Sowetan Live had reported that the protesters, who carried weapons such as knobkerries, were addressed Mangosuthu Buthelezi, a notable politician and Zulu tribe leader.

This is coming one week after attacks on foreigners sparked reactions across the continent.

Reports have also emerged that the first batch of Nigerians leaving the country would arrive in Nigeria on Wednesday.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Shehu Sani wrote: “The FG should make adequate arrangements and give reasonable support to Nigerians who decided to return home and begin a new life… and abeg don’t even think of linking them up with VP’s tradermoni 10k..biko!”
