The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has given a less-than seven days ultimatum to Sout Africans to depart Nigeria.

Naija News understands that the ultimatum comes in the wake of the xenophobic attacks in South Africa, especially the Attacks against Nigerians.

The student’s body gave the ultimatum, mandating South African nationals living in Nigeria to leave the country on or before Monday next week.

The student’s group said that upon the expiration of the ultimatum, the body would start attacking businesses with South African interest in any part of Nigeria.

This was made known by the National Public Relations Officer of NANS, Azeez Adeyemi, who led scores of Nigerian students to converge at Lalubu Road, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

Adeyemi in his statement condemned the failure of the South African government to stop the ugly situation against Nigerians.

Adeyemi said; “The anger of Nigerians especially our constituency seems to have gotten to a point of real reaction against South Africans and their businesses in Nigeria.

“As students, we had embarked on mild struggles in the past against this inhuman act of the South Africans but the animals in human flesh have proven to us that, they can only stop if we up our actions against them”.

“Going forward, as young people who originally own this country, we would not wait for President Muhammadu Buhari who has refused to take leadership and decisive position on the menace of the South Africans.”

Adeyemi said that South Africans would not be attacked, but on conditions of meeting three directives which he listed as thus;

“Firstly, all South African businesses must close every kind of business transactions opened at any point with our people in the next 12 hours.

“Secondly, by Thursday morning, all South African businesses operating in Nigeria must shut down totally as our comrades have been strategically positioned across the 36 states of the federation.

“Thirdly, South Africans living in Nigeria must leave our country latest by Monday morning.”

Bandits Reveals Why They Are Killing, Says Governors Give Them Money To Survive

Published

Some killer herdsmen have stated that their inability to access quality education was responsible for their decision to take up arms and go into crimes.

Speaking with Daily Trust, one of them, who seemed to be the leader of the group, said President Muhammadu Buhari can only tackle insecurity by seeking international intervention.

While lamenting neglect by the government, the bandit said they want quality education and employment opportunities in government parastatals.

He said, “This issue is beyond any governor; even the president himself, if he knows the true situation in the forest and the condition people find themselves, there’s no way he would have left this responsibility to the governors or any individual.

“The problem cannot be surmounted by a governor; even the president would have to seek help from other countries to tackle the problem. Just look around, these are people bearing arms and they have nothing to do. Many have lost their loved ones. The parents of some of them have been killed.”

“What we want is that our pastoralists should be employed just like the way their own children are employed. Our children should be enrolled in schools so that we can also become knowledgeable. In this country, there is oil, there are gold and many other natural resources but we don’t know how any of those things are being managed,” he added.

He accused members of the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad and officers of the Nigerian Army have taken their cattle from them, leaving them poorer.

“What more cattle do we have now? Soldiers and SARS personnel have carted away all the cattle,” the bandit leader said.

Asked how they survive in the forest, he said the bandits feed on the proceeds from selling the few cows they have left.

He also alleged that they get money from some governors and lawmakers who pay off the bandits after they must have raided such person’s domain.

“The way we survive is, some of us with two or three cows, sell one and bring the money here which we share and buy some food items.

“Sometimes, some governors or lawmakers, if our people are disturbing their domain, they would send N100, 000 or N200, 000. That’s how it’s been,” he said.

“To the glory of God, NAFDAC gave us all the approvals last September but I insisted that the products be packaged properly. IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu Vows To Hunt Down Governor Wike

Published

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed to hunted Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State for atrocities allegedly perpetrated against Oyigbo people.

Naija News reports that the pro-Biafra activist made the threat in a post on his Twitter page on Thursday.

Members of IPOB had allegedly engaged security operatives in Oyigbo River State, a situation that led to the killing of people.

Nnamdi Kanu stated that Wike will be hunted by domestic and international legions.

He wrote: “Anyone close to Wike should tell him that till the last days of his miserable life, he will be HUNTED down for all the atrocities he spearheaded against my people at #Obigbo.

“He will be hunted by legions, domestically & internationally. And it will be scorched-earth & fiery.”

Meanwhile, Mazi Kanu has revealed why Fulani herdsmen have refused to graze their cattle in the north.

The IPOB leader claimed that herdsmen are refusing to graze in the north and relocating to the south because they are terrorists.

According to the pro-Biafra activist, the terrorists are only disguising as Fulani herdsmen.

“If it’s true that these herdsmen are merely looking for the green pastures of the South to graze, why then did they abandon the expansive green pastures of the North that lie fallow in the lower Sahel?

“Don’t believe the hype: They’re not herders; they’re terrorists in disguise,” Nnamdi Kanu said.
