Popular Nigerian rapper, Falz has warned Nigerians to stop attacking South African businesses in Nigeria.
He also called out Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice President of Nigeria to profer an immediate solution to the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
Falz stated this in response to a statement by the Vice President on his Twitter handle against the recent attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
Osinbajo while condemning the xenophobic attacks on Tuesday stated that the incident is unfortunate.
But, Falz responding to his comment on Twitter, asked Osinbajo to reveal actions being taken by the Nigerian government.
Falz stated: “We all know what it is, What is being done about it?
“This a very difficult time for everyone but violence is never the answer.
“Attacking people or vandalizing businesses in Nigeria will not solve the problem, but will rather make things worse.
“We are hurting our own selves! Please.”
Naija News recalls that few angry Nigerians raided Shoprite and MTN offices, two of the businesses owned by South Africa in Lagos State.
Nigeria Police Force, however, stopped the youths from causing more damage.
