Dino Melaye Suffers Defeat In PDP Kogi Governorship Primary

Senator representing the Kogi West senatorial district, Dino Melaye seems to have lost his hope of becoming the Governor of Kogi state as he has suffered serious defeat in the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Naija News reports that Dino was defeated when he came fourth in the election after suffering defeat from three others.

Melaye came fourth after the result of the primary election was declared on Wednesday by the election committee headed by Adamawa governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

Melaye polled 70 votes, while the winner, Engineer Musa Wada got 748 votes.
