Breaking: Wada Emerge As PDP Gov Candidate In Kogi (Full Result)

Reports reaching Naija News reveal that Engr. Musa Wada has on Wednesday emerged as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to represent the party in the Saturday, November 16 governorship election in Kogi state.

Naija News understands that Musa Wada scored 748 votes to clinch the party ticket.

Musa Wada, a younger brother of the immediate past Governor Idris Wada, was closely followed by Abubakar Mohammed Ibrahim, the son of a former governor, Ibrahim Idris (Ibro), who polled 710 votes.

This online news platform understands that the immediate past governor of the state, Capt. Wada, came third with 345 votes while Senator Dino Melaye ‘pitiably‘ pulled 70 vote to emerge fourth.

Votes pulled by other contestants include Aminu Suleiman- 55 votes, Victor Adoji-54, Erico Joseph- 42, AVM Saliu Atawodi (retd.)- 11, Emmanuel Omebije- 9 votes, Mohammed Shuaibi- 4 votes, Bayo Michael- 2 votes and Jabiru Haruna- 0.

The result of the primary election comes at the resumption of counting on Wednesday after some unknown gunmen disrupted the Kogi Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary.
